While attending college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Jerry was employed as a Securities Trader for the firm of Blunt Ellis & Loewi. Upon graduation he joined Konen Insurance through the Aetna Prime Agent Program. In 1994 he assumed the responsibility as president of Konen Insurance. While as President, Jerry provided over 30 years of insurance expertise to commercial and personal accounts and developed employee benefits programs The Konen Agency has continued to grow thru organic growth and acquisition. In 2020 the agency acquired the Lakeview Insurance Agency of Chicago and also installed its third generation of leadership. In 2021 Jerry moved into the role of Chairman of the Board helping with strategic oversight of the company’s future.

Jerry lives in Aurora with his wife Zoe.
